Grandma:)

Well you've been passed a while,
and I still miss that smile.
I miss your laugh and your pranks
But I don't miss your pair of spanks.
I miss those antique adventures.
I especially miss those funny dentures.
I wish you were here,
To stop the tears,
Each and everyday
I know your not far away
But I still miss you.
Love Whit.

Paris

The air smells like fresh yeast bread and delicious pastries.
The people say good morning and kiss each other on each cheek.
The blue sky shines like a star alone in the darkness of night.
People pass smelling like roses and fresh linens,
and the Children laugh and whine about not getting a cupcake.
It's almost relaxing here in the world of Paris.
It's strange and almost alien to me.
The family stay together and people get up early and are helpful.
They even tell you the best places to see.
They even invite you over; you, a complete stranger.
This is the grand city of Paris

Senses

The sea shines like glass from the Moons light.
It shows every flaw, like the rocks by the bay,
Or the sand bar near the coral.
The wind blows gently against my skin like a angels kiss,
Subtle but noticeable. The dolphins jump like hyper children from a long car ride.
Each one showing it's pearl white stomach.
The ocean never ceases to amaze my senses.
From the smell of salt to the chilly breezes on my skin.
This is the Ocean.

This Crazy Love of Ours

Yesterday we had a water fight
We were soaking wet and covered in soap.
We laughed and giggled then you kissed my lips.
Only you would kiss a girl covered in soap.
You carried me to the porch and threw me a towel,
Only for me to drop it and you have to pick it up again.
Sometimes we act like small children,
Other times we act like we'd never be happy without each other.
Our love is crazy, and very different.
We fight, laugh, argue, and sometimes even yell.
But I can't imagine it any other way,
Because this is Our Love.

Bullying: Our Worlds Greatest Fault

I read an article called "Fighting Back Against Bullies" based on the movie "Bullied: A Student, a School, and a Case that Made History". It tells of a high schooler, Jamie Nabozny, and his horried experiences with bullying. It is just outrageously inhumane to have to plan your days at school out, to wonder if your gonna be harrassed, to even be scared to go to the bathroom for fear of being beat. It is horrid and scary that this happens on a daily basis to young lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgenders(LGBT). This article told me things that truely horrified me. It showed me that abuse and harrassment can happen in many different ways, and that scares me. It also informed me on how crude some individuals are when it comes to being homosexual. It's sad when a student has to go to a different school and attend court just for a school to take consideration on a bullying policy. I am apalled by this event and I'm a disappointed in the fact that a school wouldn't protect it's own students from constant harrassment.
